The Climate Change and Water Management module explores the complex relationship between climate change and the availability, distribution, and management of water resources.
It delves into the impacts of shifting climate patterns—such as increased temperatures, altered precipitation, and extreme weather events—on water systems. The module examines both the challenges and opportunities that arise in adapting water management practices to mitigate climate change effects, with a focus on sustainability, resilience, and policy development.
Students will gain insights into how different regions manage water resources, and how innovative solutions, technologies, and strategies can help ensure equitable and effective water use in a changing climate.
